Born in the USA, grew up in Chiayi, settle down in Taipei, Elise Ay adores exploring cultural differences through every aspect of life. As a Chinese literature graduate loving travel, fashion, art and photography, Elise launched The Kaleidoscope to share what she experiences and thinks through delicately woven words. With her words, she hopes to express the “never shallow” facades of fashion and lifestyle.

Elise graduated from National Taiwan University, with a BA and an MA degree in Chinese Literature. She has worked as an editorial intern at Everyday Object, and now she is a full-time research assistant at university, columnist at Crossing, sometimes freelancing for A Day Magazine, The Femin  and HxxA. She is now studying for her second master degree at Parsons the New School of Design in Manhattan.

It’s such an honor that you visit The Kaleidoscope, and maybe the articles here trigger you to know more about the owner of this website, so you click into the About page. Hope you’ve found some inspiration here. Enjoy:)
