perfect in pairs perfect in pairs
one more week until i officially marked my 5-year one more week until i officially marked my 5-year residency in nyc. very lucky to be able to live in this amazing (yet stinky) city and call it home

下週即將開啟我的第六年紐約生活。

沒想到就這樣在這座城市生活了五年,五年過去,很多東西熟悉了,很多東西卻依舊還是新的——城市的脈動、整體的氛圍、城裡的居民,每一次體會,都依舊是新的。

得過諾貝爾文學獎的約翰 · 史坦貝克曾經寫過:

「紐約是座醜陋、骯髒的城市。它的氣候是則醜聞,它的政治常會嚇壞小孩,它的交通太瘋狂,裡頭的競爭激烈得會殺人。然而有一件關於它的事千真萬確,那就是,一旦你居住過紐約而它也慢慢變成你的家,世界上其他地方都再也不夠好了。」

時間飛快,轉眼之間即將進入八月中。

脫離學生時代後時間感知變得遲鈍,常常回過頭來竟然又一季。

年紀漸長,日常裡,時間變得越來越輕;人生裡,時間卻越來越重。
one of my favorite restaurants in Copenhagen - Nor one of my favorite restaurants in Copenhagen - Nordic food is so rich in flavor with fresh in season ingredients and interesting seasoning. so much in love 

Høst 是這次去哥本哈根吃到最喜歡的餐廳之一,一波三折才吃到可能也增加了它的美味程度——下飛機以為平日晚間可以不用訂位,直衝餐廳結果沒有位置(哥本哈根不少餐廳都不開放現場候位),訂了位結果臨時不舒服改期,在離開前一晚終於吃到,三顧茅廬(其實沒有三顧)總是特別美味。

北歐料理都很有自己的個性——清爽且層次豐富,喜以蒔蘿入菜,海鮮有獨特的鮮甜,綠草莓、食用花和紅醋栗是調味點綴的靈魂。

Høst 的餐點分成 3-course 和 5-course(食量小如我應該點 3-course 就很夠了),主菜的鮭魚可以加價換成和牛,每道菜可以選葡萄酒搭配或是果汁搭配,餐點份量精緻,卻意外吃得很飽,當季食材的巧妙實驗與運用,是對身處的季節與環境的最高禮讚。

餐廳裝潢一派美麗的北歐簡約風,但每一處細節都照顧到了,啊,好想再吃一次。
